Most tuition centres focus on memorising steps. But if your child doesn't understand the "why," they will hit a wall at P5. Here is how we fix it.

If your child is hardworking but marks are stagnant, the issue isn't effort. It's the method.
I spent 10 years inside MOE — as a classroom teacher, Head of Department, Year Head, and even a stint at MOE headquarters. I saw how the curriculum was designed from the inside. I understood how exams were set, how papers were marked, and how the system decided which students would succeed and which would fall behind.
Those 10 years gave me something most tutors don't have: a complete picture of how primary math education works in Singapore — not just the content, but the thinking behind it.
Before I became a teacher, I was a student — and I remember what it felt like to sit in a class that wasn't really designed for learning.
I've been in classrooms where multiple levels were going on at the same time. Where there was very little actual teaching. Where the materials weren't great, and you were mostly left to figure things out on your own. I know how it feels to want help and not get it — not because the teacher didn't care, but because the setup made it almost impossible.
That experience stayed with me. And when I became a teacher myself, I knew I wanted to do things differently.
My nieces and nephews will be starting Primary 1 in a few years. And as someone who has spent nearly two decades teaching primary math, I could already see the road ahead. I know exactly where students get lost. I know the gaps that form silently in P1 and P2 and don't show up until P4 or P5 — when it's almost too late.
I wanted to prepare for them. I wanted a structured programme that would catch problems early, build understanding properly, and make sure they never had to sit in a class feeling lost the way I once did.
"None of it was what I'd want for my own family. So I built it myself."
I believe in creating my own materials. Every worksheet, every set of notes, every practice paper — written by me, aligned to the MOE 2021 syllabus, designed around how students actually learn. Not downloaded from the internet. Not recycled from ten years ago.
I believe in a structured approach that ensures every student’s progress is closely monitored. This rigour allows us to identify the hesitation before a wrong answer or the shortcut that leads to careless errors. We provide timely help, ensuring gaps are closed before they become permanent.
19 years of teaching. Over 1,000 students. The classroom is still small. The method is still the same. Because it works.
Every child who walks through my door at Potong Pasir — or logs into my online class — gets the programme I built for my own family. Structured. High Quality. Taught by someone who understands the system because she helped run it.
As a PSLE marker, I don't just teach your child to solve problems. I teach them to present their working in a way that earns every mark the examiner can give.
A structured approach designed to move students from confusion to clarity.
Close Hidden Gaps
We identify weak foundations using a Concrete-Visual-Abstract approach. We don't just patch the cracks; we rebuild the base so advanced topics make sense.
Purposeful Practice
No mindless drilling. We use "Error Journals" to target mistakes and build exam stamina. Students learn to spot question types instantly.
Exam Strategy
Teaching explicit exam strategies. Using my experience as a PSLE Marker, I teach them exactly where marks are won and lost.
Your child is learning from someone who knows the system from the inside out. We don't guess what might come out for PSLE. We follow the syllabus with precision.
