Tuition shouldn't just be about giving worksheets. At Ms Tabby's Math, we use the LEAP Framework to build a common teaching language that ensures your child truly understands the relationship behind every problem.
What is the question asking for? What information has been given? What steps/ method can I take to get the answer?
How do I represent it mathematically? Turn words and information into models, number sentences and mathematical relationships.
Can I use what I know? Apply concepts to familiar and unfamiliar problems instead of memorising question types.
What can I recognise? Notice recurring structures and relationships that make seemingly difficult questions more manageable.
